  9. Most  of  the  tunes that I've had the
  10. opportunity to hear from this guy were
  11. made  to the masses, and I have a hard
  12. time  to recognize any sign of musical
  13. talent in this sort of music.  I'm not
  14. saying   that   Jester   doesn't  have
  15. talent,  he  probably  has lots of it,
  16. but  if  you're making pop/techno this
  17. way,  you  don't  show  it.  I can, as
  18. already  stated, imagine that this guy
  19. is  loved  by the masses(am I right?),
  20. but it doesn't give me anything.

  22. The drums in Jester's tunes are almost
  23. never as complex as they have to be if
  24. your  aim  is  to  create this kind of
  25. music.   Complex  doesn't have to mean
  26. lots  of  notes,  but  a massive sound
  27. that  sounds right!  Anyway, after all
  28. I  can't  complain because many of the
  29. Amigamusicians  don't  have  the  real
  30. musical knowhow(although the technical
  31. knowhow  often is greater than I could
  32. imagine!), and thus many of them don't
  33. have  drums  complex  enough  in their
  34. songs.

  36. Some  of  Jester's  melodies  are very
  37. nice,  some are not.  If he would have
  38. varied  the  leadinstrument  more from
  39. song  to  song,  I  think  the overall
  40. judgement would have been higher.  'My
  41. glamorous  life'  is very nice in some
  42. aspects, and this is the song with the
  43. ¶most 'real' drums.  Maybe because they
  44. consist of sequences.

  46. The  bassline  is very simple, as they
  47. use  to  be in pop, and I think Jester
  48. does the right thing not doing it more
  49. varied.
  50. The  chords/voices  are  sometimes bad
  51. looped,  but  he knows how to handle a
  52. piano(at  least  it  sounds so when he
  53. selects the accords).
  54. The only techno song I have heard from
  55. this  guy  starts  very  nice,  with a
  56. quiet  nice  beat,  but  then he slows
  57. down  the  tempo  very  cheap  and the
  58. general  sound falls down to zero.  If
  59. Jester  will  make more songs, I would
  60. advise   him   to   make  either  fast
  61. popsongs  or  even  techno, because of
  62. what  I  have  heard, that seems to be
  63. his personal style.

  68. people     love     Jester's    music.
  69. 'Jesterday'  had  one  good  song,  My
  70. glamorous  life, but the rest was just
  71. about  average!   I like the beginning
  72. of  the  Pygmy  Projects song, but not
  73. the     middle     part    with    the
  74. woooaaaaoo-lead   which   belongs   to
  75. Lizardking.   An  average guy, nothing
  76. more!
